Free today: Kiss of Gold and Thorns!

Free on Kindle until Monday!!

Kiss of Gold and Thorns is a collection of short fairy tales in a fantasy world, with ghosts, wolves, curses, and kisses. It has f/f romance and het romance. A Feline girl, a magical girl in a wheelchair, and a boy more tree than human. Trigger warning for sexual assault.

Once in a hidden queendom…

Little Red Riding Hood has an encounter with a ghost and a wolf.

A girl becomes captive of the king but Rumpelstiltskin may have the magic to help her.

When a door appears in the wall of thorns around a cursed kingdom, a Feline girl accidentally wakes Sleeping Beauty with a kiss.

COVER + TITLE REVEAL: Kiss of Gold & Thorns

Continuing on the redesign from yesterday, LOVE IN THE GILDED AGE is getting a new title and cover adjustment! The stories inside are all the same, but now the title better reflects them (and doesn't confuse the Rumpelstiltskin story for which it was named with the actual Gilded Age in history...)

I hope you like the new and improved cover and title!

Title & cover re-reveal for Lux Guardians stories!

This book has been in dire need of a facelift for a long time, and not only does it have a new cover but it has a new title too! I hope with this redesign it'll help the stories reach more readers (and assure people who haven't read TLG series that it can be read separately.)

So here's the new cover:

It has the romance-y vibe going that I wanted, and a little hint at its setting. Much better than its previous cover!

And here's what the stories are about:

Three romantic dystopian stories.

In a futuristic London, two people are drawn together in a desperate attempt to survive.

An ordinary girl is swept into a world of danger when she catches the attention of the deadliest man in Forgotten London - the military Captain. He says he wants to help her but can she believe him?

When he witnesses an attempted murder, one boy risks his life to save a total stranger.

Love In Forgotten Places is a prequel in the Lux Guardians series but the stories can stand alone.

You can get Love In Forgotten Places at Amazon, B&N, and Itunes now. The new cover should be up in a couple hours!

What do you think of the new look?

Words & Wonders (23)

Welcome to Words & Wonders, a weekly journal of writing updates, links I've found useful or interesting, and book recommendations. I hope W&W will prove to be useful to you writers out there as well as offering an insight into my writing progress for my readers. Don't forget to leave a comment with your own writing progress!

In the Writing Cave, this week I have:

- Written 6,932 words of POWERS (TLM3) AND IT'S FINISHED!!!! 125K words later... I estimate another summer release for this.

- Begun hastily plotting my next project (Hades/Persephone WIP) for real, instead of the mess of notes and ideas I had as of Monday. Its working title is now Queen of The Halfworld but that's probably gonna change at least 3 times so I'll just call it PERSEYUA, the name of the main character. (Pronounced per.say.wa.)

- Returned to a gothic short story anthology I've been writing on and off for a year called Ghastly. I've been reading halloween-y books so they've had an effect on my writing mood. Currently writing a story about a demon girl who gets kidnapped and carted off to heaven because of a grudge between her father and an angel. The love interest is gender fluid!

In my life:

- I'm feeling pretty darn accomplished. Finished the first POWERS draft, working on the short story, and discovered my Etsy shop was featured in a Cosmopolitan web article last year about Harry Potter Christmas gifts (it's the Gryffindor bracelet!)

On the internet, this week I found useful:

- Been busy busy and haven't had much time on the internets,

A book I've loved lately:

This week I actually have TWO books I've loved, The Casquette Girls, which is atmospheric and romantic and a gothic delight; and Blood Magic, another tense, heartfelt gothic YA that I felt in my bones. Loved both of them and recommend them v much!!

What have you written this week?
